Kastaplast plastics guide
K1 Line
K1 Line is Kastaplast's super-durable material, with a pleasant mix of firmness and flexibility. K1 Line discs come in solid and translucent colours.
K1 Soft
K1 Soft is similar to K1 but more flexible and grippier. Like K1, it comes in translucent and solid colours. (K1 Soft is the same as the old K2.)
K1 Glow-Line
K1 Glow has the same properties as the tough K1 Line, but with a long-lasting glow!
K1 Grind
K1 Grind is an effort to reduce waste in the manufacturing process. It is made from 100% recycled K1 plastic and always comes in a two-tone design on recycled discs.
K3 Line
K3 Line is our base plastic, with good grip in all conditions. With this plastic you quickly get that nice broken-in feel. Compared with other base plastics, K3 is medium-hard.
K3 Hard
K3 Hard is the stiffer version of the K3 Line. Its firmness makes it more durable than the original K3, so it ages more slowly.
K3 Glow-Line
K3 Glow is made from the same plastic as the K3 Line, blended with luminescent plastic. It glows at night, but because of the base plastic it glows less than K1 Glow.
K1 Hard
K1 Hard has the same polished feel as K1 but is slightly harder and wears more slowly, and it adds a touch more stability to the disc. K1 Hard is exclusive to the Tour Series.
K4 Line
K4 is a soft hybrid plastic that sits between base and premium: wear shows, but the flight characteristics hold. It has an extra tacky, rubbery feel and floats in water.
