Kastaplast’s most popular putter, in grippy K3 plastic. A straight, smooth flight for putts and short approaches.

The Reko is Kastaplast’s most popular putter — and its name says it all. Reko means “good, reliable or decent” in Swedish, and that’s exactly what it promises: a disc that never lets you down. With speed 3, glide 3, turn 0 and fade 1, it offers a completely straight, predictable flight that finishes with a very gentle fade. A comfortable rounded profile with a small, soft bead suits most hands and makes for a clean release on both backhand and forehand.

Just as effective for putts at the basket, precision approach shots and putter drives on short holes. Its reinforced shoulder gives it a little more durability than a standard putter. In K3 it seasons faster than in K1 — becoming an exceptionally straight flyer over time, while always keeping the Reko’s trademark gentle fade.

K3 Line

Kastaplast's base plastic. Very grippy in all conditions thanks to its slightly textured surface, with a feel halfway between soft and firm. It beats in faster than K1, which over time makes it a little more workable. Compared with other base plastics on the market, K3 is among the most durable in its category. In the Berg specifically, K3 flies a bit more stable than K1 and lands with much less ground play.

Dynamic Discs Judge Classic Soft— another soft, neutral beaded putter (2/4/0/1). The Judge has more glide; the Reko K3 has less glide but more fade — more reliable for players who don’t want the disc to sail past on putts.

Discmania Active Shogun— another beaded putter with a comfortable profile (2/4/0/2). The Shogun has more glide and more fade. The Reko K3 is more neutral and shorter — for players who put control ahead of extra distance.

Innova Aviar DX— the most classic putter on the market (2/3/0/1). A very similar concept, but the Reko K3 has a reinforced shoulder, and K3 beats Innova’s DX on grip, especially in the cold and rain.
