The Järn is Kastaplast’s first overstable approach disc — “iron” in Swedish, a perfect name for a disc that flies low and short and finishes with a strong, consistent hook that’s not up for negotiation. With speed 4.5, glide 3, turn 0 and fade 3, it’s the approach disc you can trust when you need it to fade, no excuses. A flat, beadless profile — comfortable on both backhand and forehand, with a clean release at any angle.

Just as effective for tight hyzers, approach flex shots, escape shots under trees and overstable forehands where you need the disc to hold up to torque. K3 Hard gives it a special character — K3 has more grip straight away than K1, but the Hard version keeps the firmness that gives more torque resistance and an even stronger, more reliable fade. An interesting combination for players who want maximum hook on every shot.

K3 Hard

A stiffer version of Kastaplast's K3 base plastic. It keeps K3's characteristic, natural grip but with more firmness — it beats in more slowly than standard K3 and keeps the mold's overstability for longer. For players who want the tactile feel of K3 but with more wear resistance and a more consistent fade over time.
