A more overstable version of Kastaplast’s Reko, in K3 Hard plastic. A reliable putter into the wind and for approaches.

The Reko X is the more overstable sibling of the iconic Reko — same profile, same dimensions, but with a concave wing that changes everything. That curve in the wing gives a more defined grip and makes it an especially reliable disc into a headwind. With speed 3, glide 3, turn 0 and fade 2, it flies straight for most of its path and finishes with a stronger fade than the standard Reko — perfect for putts that need to hold up in the wind and approaches where the original Reko would fly too straight.

According to the manufacturer, “it shares many shapes and dimensions with the classic Reko, the concave wing being the most obvious exception — it allows a more defined grip and is a better wind fighter”. Useful for putts into a headwind, short overstable approach shots and putter drives on short holes where you need the disc to fade more reliably than the standard Reko.

K3 Hard

A stiffer version of Kastaplast's K3 base plastic. It keeps K3's characteristic, natural grip but with more firmness — it beats in more slowly than standard K3 and keeps the mold's overstability for longer. For players who want the tactile feel of K3 but with more wear resistance and a more consistent fade over time.

Kastaplast K3 Reko— the more neutral sibling (3/3/0/1). The standard Reko has less fade and a straighter flight. The Reko X K3 Hard has more fade and a concave wing — for situations where the Reko flies too straight.

Dynamic Discs Judge Classic Blend— another beaded putter with a neutral-to-stable flight (2/4/0/1). The Judge has more glide and less fade. The Reko X K3 Hard has more fade and a concave wing — more reliable in the wind and more overstable on long putts.

Discmania Active Shogun— another overstable beaded putter (2/4/0/2). The Shogun has more glide and is a little faster. The Reko X K3 Hard is shorter and more controlled — for situations where the Shogun glides too much
