Discraft control driver in Z Line plastic, with more glide and less overstability than the Predator. For long, straight drives with a reliable finish.

The Vulture is one of the most complete control drivers in the Discraft range — and its official description puts it better than anyone: “When the Predator is done with its prey, the Vulture moves in. The Vulture is a nicely seasoned Predator, with less overstability and more glide”. With speed 10, glide 5, turn 0 and fade 2, and a stability rating of 1.7, it flies straight for an extraordinary distance before finishing with a moderate, completely predictable fade. No turn, no surprises.

In the manufacturer's words: “expect extra glide on both backhand and sidearm, and a consistent fade towards your target. A medium rim gives you more control and a great feel in the hand. Throw it with all your power to handle headwind shots. It holds a near-perfect line on max-power throws.” The community considers it an underused driver — the workhorse of the Discraft range for anyone who already controls the Zombee but wants more speed and more fade.

Z Line

Discraft's most durable plastic, formerly known as Elite-Z. Translucent look with vivid colours and highly wear-resistant. It comes out of the factory a bit firmer and less grippy than ESP, but gains grip progressively with use. Its biggest advantage over other plastics is that it keeps its original flight characteristics for much longer — ideal if you want your disc to fly the same round after round.

Discraft Z Line Zombee— the Vulture's slower sibling (6/4/-1/1). The Zombee is slower with less fade. The Vulture Z is faster, with more glide and more fade — the natural step up when the Zombee falls short on speed.

Latitude 64 Gold Musket X-out— also an overstable control driver (10/5/-0.5/2). The Musket has a touch of turn. The Vulture Z has turn 0 and Stability 1.7 — a bit more overstable and more torque-resistant in demanding conditions.

Kastaplast K1 Malm— also an overstable fairway driver (10/4/0/2.5). The Malm has less glide and more fade. The Vulture Z has more glide and flies a bit further before finishing — more versatile for long control drives.
