Very overstable Discmania fairway driver in Neo plastic, an X-out with a small cosmetic flaw. Accuracy and control in strong wind.

This disc is an X-out — it has a small cosmetic flaw (imperfect stamp, uneven colour or another minor visual detail) that doesn’t affect flight or durability. It flies exactly the same as any standard Splice.

The Splice is Discmania’s ultimate overstable fairway driver — a tool of absolute precision that has earned a permanent place in the bags of elite players like Eagle McMahon and Kyle Klein. According to the manufacturer, it “fuses control and overstability” in a disc that handles even the most brutal headwinds. With speed 9, glide 3, turn 0 and fade 4, it flies low and resilient and finishes with a strong, unshakeable fade.

It suits any grip and makes forehand shots more predictable, even for players who haven’t mastered the technique. Very useful for low-speed escape shots — just set the anhyzer angle and let the Splice’s fade work for you without any extra power. It’s also an exceptional tool for tomahawks and upside-down throws for players with power. Neo gives it exceptional durability and grip.

Neo

The most durable and stiffest plastic in Discmania's Evolution line, made by Latitude 64. It's a blend of Opto and Gold Line plastics — the result is a semi-translucent plastic with a creamy finish, extremely durable and with exceptional grip in any condition. It has a certain flexibility that gives it a very natural feel in the hand and adds a bit of extra snap at the end of the throw. Neo is the plastic that launched the Evolution line with the Instinct — the first disc in this plastic.

Kastaplast Malm K1— another very overstable fairway driver (10/4/0/2.5). The Malm is a little faster with slightly less fade. The Splice is more extremely overstable and shorter — for when the Malm can’t hold up enough.

Discraft Nuke OS Z Line— a very overstable distance driver (13/3/0/4). The Nuke OS is faster and needs more power. At speed 9, the Splice is easier to control and more accessible — the same overstability with less demand on your arm.

Latitude 64 Grand Rive Limited Edition— a very overstable distance driver (13/5/0/3.5). The Rive is faster and covers more distance. The Splice is slower and easier to handle — the precision tool versus the overstable distance driver.
