Discraft distance driver in ESP plastic, with plenty of glide and an easy-to-control S-curve flight. A good option for almost any level.

The Scorch is one of the most versatile and accessible distance drivers in the Discraft range — designed to “provide maximum glide with a reliable fade regardless of skill level”. With speed 11, glide 6, turn -2 and fade 2, and a stability rating of just 0.5, it's famous for its signature S-curve flights — a gentle early turn, exceptional glide and a moderate, predictable fade at the end. Its slightly domed flight plate adds even more glide and distance, even at lower speeds.

For beginners and intermediate players it's the driver you throw straight that comes back on its own, even in a light wind — the first real distance driver that doesn't punish imperfect releases. For advanced players it's the perfect tool for max-distance hyzer flips, controlled turnovers and rollers. In ESP the Scorch is a little less stable than in Z Line — more turn and more workable, which for many players makes it the most fun version of the mold.

ESP

Discraft premium plastic launched in 2006, created to combine exceptional grip with great durability. Opaque in appearance with its trademark colour swirls, it's grippier than Z from the very first throw and gradually beats in towards a slightly more understable flight with use. Slightly less durable than standard Z, but the difference is minimal under normal conditions.

Discraft ESP Thrasher— also a very understable distance driver (12/5/-3/2). The Thrasher has more turn and is faster. The Scorch ESP has more glide and less turn — smoother and more predictable early on, and accessible to more players.

Latitude 64 Grand Grace— also an accessible understable distance driver (11/6/-1/2). The Grace has less turn and more fade. The Scorch ESP has more turn and less fade — more turn and more S-curve distance for arms that already control the Grace.

Dynamic Discs Fuzion Heist— also an understable distance driver (12/5/-1.5/2). The Heist is a little faster and more neutral. The Scorch ESP is more understable with more glide — more S-curve distance for arms that can't throw speed 12 cleanly.
