Overstable Discraft control driver in ESP plastic, Ricky Wysocki Signature Series. It flies straight and finishes with authority.

Ricky Wysocki — Team Discraft · 2x PDGA World Champion · Winner of the PDGA World Championship in 2016 and 2017 · One of the most dominant players of the modern era · The Raptor was originally designed by Paul Ulibarri, captain of Team Discraft, and this Signature Series carries Ricky’s stamp alongside the logo of his two world titles

The Raptor was born from a collaboration between Paul Ulibarri and Discraft’s R&D team — and the manufacturer sums it up in three words: “Confidence is KING.” With speed 9, glide 4, turn 0 and fade 3, and a Stability rating of 2.1, it’s an overstable driver that flies dead straight in the early phase before finishing with authority and reliability. Its flat-top profile and lack of turn make it a perfect tool for controlled drives, long forehands, hyzers with bite and any situation where the disc must not turn over under any circumstances.

The community describes it as “the Predator with less fade” — the same numbers except for fade 3 vs the Predator’s 4, making it the slightly more workable version of the same overstable profile. In ESP the Raptor flies a little straighter than in Z Line — the most controllable version of the mold, with the exceptional grip and unique swirl colours on every disc that are the hallmark of ESP. A portion of every sale goes directly to Ricky on tour.

ESP

Discraft premium plastic launched in 2006, created to combine exceptional grip with great durability. Opaque in appearance with its trademark colour swirls, it's grippier than Z from the very first throw and gradually beats in towards a slightly more understable flight with use. Slightly less durable than standard Z, but the difference is minimal under normal conditions.

Discraft Big Z Predator— another very overstable Discraft fairway driver (9/4/1/4). The Predator has positive turn and more fade. The Raptor ESP is a little more workable (turn 0, fade 3) — less aggressive early on and with a slightly softer finish.

Latitude 64 Grand Honor— another premium overstable fairway driver (9/5/0/2.5). The Honor has more glide and less fade. The Raptor ESP has more fade and a Stability rating of 2.1 — more reliable in extreme headwinds and on power forehands.

Kastaplast K1 Grind Malm— another overstable control driver (10/4/0/2.5). The Malm is a little faster with less fade. The Raptor ESP has fade 3 — more bite at the end and more reliable in situations where the Malm doesn’t fade enough
