Overstable Discraft driver in Big Z plastic, one of the most predictable in the wind. For hyzers, forehands and shots that absolutely have to finish.

The Predator is the most predictable overstable driver in the Discraft range — and the manufacturer puts it better than anyone: “The Predator is our most predictable overstable driver. Hold a line in the wind or turn a hyzer corner at medium speed. Very fast and consistent. Check the bag of any top pro and there's a good chance you'll find a Pred.” With speed 9, glide 4, turn 1 and fade 4, and a stability rating of 2.5, the Predator never flips — the positive turn 1 ensures it always seeks overstability, even at full power.

For years it was the only overstable fairway driver in the bags of Discraft's top players — Nate Doss was famous for carrying several in different states of wear to have a flight option for every situation. At full power it flies low, straight for a short time and finishes with a violent, authoritative fade. At reduced power it can carve very tight hyzer corners. Big Z makes it a bit more workable than standard Z Line — the choice for the most balanced Predator between power and practicality.

Big Z

Discraft premium plastic with all the durability of standard Z but with a more opaque finish and a distinctive pearly sheen. Designed to show off big graphics in eye-catching colours. The grip is similar to Z, improving slightly with use as the plastic beats in. Very wear-resistant, it keeps its original flight characteristics for a long time.

Si lo comparamos con...

Discraft Z Line Vulture— the Predator's more neutral sibling (10/5/0/2). The Vulture is faster and more workable — “a nicely seasoned Predator”. The Predator Big Z is more extreme, finishes with more authority and handles more torque.

Discmania Neo Splice X-out— also a very overstable fairway driver (9/3/0/4). The Splice has less glide and the same fade. The Predator Big Z has turn 1 and Stability 2.5 — even more overstable in the early phase, the more extreme of the two.

Kastaplast K1 Malm— also an overstable fairway driver (10/4/0/2.5). The Malm is a bit more neutral and faster. The Predator Big Z is more extreme in overstability (Stability 2.5 vs an estimated ~1.5 for the Malm) — the disc for when the Malm can't hold up enough.
