Discraft's most popular distance driver, in durable Z Line plastic. Maximum distance for powerful arms.

One of Discraft's most popular drivers.

The Nuke is Discraft's most popular driver — and one of the best-selling discs in disc golf history. According to the manufacturer, “the longest drives are now as easy as pushing a button”. With speed 13, glide 5, turn -1 and fade 3, and a stability rating of 1.6, the Nuke is the perfect balance point of the trilogy: more workable than the OS and more stable than the SS. A minimal turn -1 adds a touch of early turn that flattens it out before the fade, producing long, straight flights with a reliable finish.

The ultra-wide 2.5 cm rim holds top speed throughout the flight — more hang time, more distance. According to the manufacturer, the Nuke's refined aerodynamic engineering gives it “unmatched speed” and a stability rating of 1.6 that makes it useful for a wider range of players than other max-distance drivers. In Z Line it flies more overstable than in ESP — the go-to plastic for anyone who wants the Nuke truest to its official numbers, with the slowest possible seasoning.

Z Line

Discraft's most durable plastic, formerly known as Elite-Z. Translucent look with vivid colours and highly wear-resistant. It comes out of the factory a bit firmer and less grippy than ESP, but gains grip progressively with use. Its biggest advantage over other plastics is that it keeps its original flight characteristics for much longer — ideal if you want your disc to fly the same round after round.

Discraft ESP Nuke SS
— the understable sibling (13/5/-3/3). The Nuke SS turns much more and is accessible for less powerful arms. The Z Nuke is more neutral and more reliable in windy conditions — the balance between distance and control.

Discraft ESP Nuke OS
— the overstable sibling (13/4/0/4). The Nuke OS finishes with far more authority. The Z Nuke has more glide and more turn — more total distance and more accessible for intermediate-to-advanced players.

Latitude 64 Ballista Pro Gold— also a top-speed distance driver (14/4/0/3). The Ballista is faster and more overstable. The Z Nuke has more glide and more turn — more accessible distance for anyone who can't yet throw speed 14 cleanly.
