The MD3 has been Discmania’s benchmark midrange for more than a decade — the disc you’ll find in the bags of tour pros and brand-new beginners alike. Q-Line Premier takes that proven mold and reinvents it with Premier technology: shifting up to 10% of the mass to the rim gives more spin retention, more wind resistance and a far better ability to hold lines than the standard MD3. With speed 5, glide 6, turn 0 and fade 2, it flies straight through its whole path before a moderate, predictable fade.

In Discmania’s own words: “The Premier MD3 holds its line longer, fights the wind and is more predictable than ever. For players who want a trusted midrange that’s workable in any conditions.” The dome is slightly higher than on the standard MD3 — a direct result of the lower-density flight plate that allows the weight to be shifted to the rim. The result is a midrange that feels different in the hand but flies better than any MD3 before it.

Q-Line Premier

Discmania's most advanced plastic to date — denser and tougher than C-Line. According to the manufacturer itself, thinning the flight plate for Premier Technology called for a denser plastic to keep the maximum weight, and Q-Line is the answer. Stiffer than C-Line, with a premium finish and excellent grip. Specifically designed to keep the disc's stability and flight properties for many more rounds than conventional plastics.

Discmania Q-Line Premier FD— another disc with Premier Technology in Q-Line (7/7/0/1). The FD has more speed and less fade. The Premier MD3 is slower and a bit more overstable — more control and more confidence on placement shots where the FD would go too far.

Discraft Fuzed Z Buzzz— the classic benchmark neutral midrange (5/4/-1/1). The Buzzz has less glide and turn -1. The Premier MD3 has more glide (6) and turn 0 — more distance and more neutral early on, before a stronger fade at the end.

Obsidian Discs Magma H9— another neutral-to-overstable, high-glide midrange (5/5/0/2). The Magma has less glide and the same fade. The Premier MD3 has glide 6 — more gliding distance plus the advantage of Premier Technology in tough conditions.
