Recomendado para:

Fairway driver from Discmania's Evolution line in Neo plastic. Combines fairway control with surprisingly long glide.

The Instinct is one of the most special discs in the Discmania range — it was the first fairway driver in the Evolution line and the first disc released in Neo plastic. According to the manufacturer, it offers the perfect combination of a fairway driver's control and a distance driver's reach. With speed 7, glide 5, turn 0 and fade 2, it flies straight and stable with surprisingly long glide before finishing with a moderate, predictable fade.

It handles advanced players' power without flipping over, and at lower speeds it still delivers a controlled, useful flight. Equally comfortable backhand and forehand. According to the Discmania team members who tested it before launch, the verdict was unanimous: “straight into the bag”. One of the most repeated comments was “Where has this been all my life?” — and the community has agreed ever since.

Note: Since mid-2025, Discmania has moved the Instinct from the Evolution line to the Originals line under the name FD1. The disc in your hand is exactly the same mold — only the name has changed on the most recent runs.

Neo

The most durable and stiffest plastic in Discmania's Evolution line, made by Latitude 64. It's a blend of Opto and Gold Line plastics — the result is a semi-translucent plastic with a creamy finish, extremely durable and with exceptional grip in any condition. It has a certain flexibility that gives it a very natural feel in the hand and adds a bit of extra snap at the end of the throw. Neo is the plastic that launched the Evolution line with the Instinct — the first disc in this plastic.

Discmania FD1 (new mold)
— the current FD1 (since mid-2025) IS this very mold, renamed when it moved to the Originals line. Same disc, same flight, different name and different plastic options.

Innova Teebird— the benchmark in this segment, with almost identical numbers (7/5/0/2). The Instinct in Neo has a softer, more natural grip; the Teebird in Champion is a bit stiffer and firmer.

Latitude 64 Explorer Opto— a very similar flight (7/5/0/2) and comparable plastic. The Explorer is the benchmark in the Latitude 64 range; the Instinct is the benchmark in Discmania's Evolution line.
