Very straight Axiom Discs midrange in R2 Neutron plastic, recycled from used discs. The same flight as the Hex you know.

R2 Neutron is MVP’s premium recycled plastic — made from old and broken discs that are ground up and re-formed. The same flight as standard Neutron, slightly softer, with the trademark black core and white rim. The stamps on the R2 discs from the GYROpalooza box are assorted — they may vary from disc to disc.

The Hex is Axiom’s benchmark neutral midrange — described by the manufacturer as “mesmerizingly straight”. With speed 5, glide 5, turn -1 and fade 1, it’s one of the straightest, most versatile midranges on the market: it holds almost any line you throw it on, with minimal drag and a very gentle finish. According to Axiom: “for advanced players it will produce slightly understable lines from flat, but the fade of 1 stops it from turning over completely. For slower arms the Hex has enough turn to shape lines easily”.

In R2 Neutron the Hex is a little softer and grippier than in standard Neutron — more comfortable in the hand and with more feel on release. The black core with a white rim is the trademark finish of all MVP R2 discs. The plastic is slightly more flexible than Neutron, with the same flight characteristics. A very sustainable choice: MVP gives old and broken discs a new life by turning them into R2 Neutron.

R2 Neutron
