Dynamic Discs distance driver in Fuzion plastic, straight and predictable. A high-speed driver that goes where you aim it.

The Heist is Dynamic Discs’ latest distance driver — PDGA approved in April 2025. The manufacturer sums it up perfectly: “plan your line, trust your throw”. With speed 12, glide 5, turn -1.5 and fade 2, it’s a straight, controlled, predictable distance driver — a high-speed “point-and-shoot” that won’t betray you on release. According to the manufacturer, it’s designed for “controlled power, smooth lines and clean finishes”.

The turn of -1.5 makes it more accessible than a fully neutral distance driver — it turns slightly early on, allowing hyzer flip angles and long S-drives before finishing with a moderate, reliable fade. It complements the Trespass and the Sheriff perfectly in the Dynamic Discs range — the Heist is the most workable of the three. In Fuzion it feels softer and grippier than in Lucid, and the flight is a little more understable.

Fuzion

Dynamic Discs premium plastic that combines the durability of Lucid with an additional advanced polymer. Opaque, non-translucent finish with vivid colours. According to the manufacturer itself, Fuzion offers more grip than Lucid thanks to this additional polymer, and the Heist in Fuzion flies a bit more understable than in Lucid — which in practice means more accessibility for intermediate arms and more workability for advanced players.

Discraft Paul McBeth Prototype Ares
— another neutral-to-understable speed-12 distance driver (12/6/-1/2). The Ares has more glide and its turn of -1 is slightly less aggressive. The Heist Fuzion has more turn and flies a bit more workable — more S-drives and fewer hyzers.

Kastaplast K1 Malm— also speed 10, but very overstable (10/4/0/2.5). The Malm won’t turn over. The Heist Fuzion is faster and more understable — for distance drives where the Malm would fade too early.

Discmania Q-Line Premier DD3— another neutral speed-12 distance driver (12/6/-1/2). The DD3 has more glide and less turn. The Heist Fuzion has more turn and is a bit more workable — for players who want more S in their drive and less fade.
