One of Discraft's most overstable drivers, in ESP plastic. For forehands, strong wind and shots that always need to finish.

Orange disc 164/166g
Blue disc 170/172g

The Flick is one of the most overstable discs in the Discraft range — and probably one of the most overstable on the market overall. With speed 12, glide 3, turn +1 and fade 5, and a Stability rating of 2.5, it's designed for one thing only: to always finish, regardless of power, angle or wind. A completely flat profile, a thin nose that slices through the air and a brutal, non-negotiable fade.

The Flick is the ultimate forehand disc for advanced players with plenty of power. It takes any amount of torque without flipping over — the harder you throw it, the harder it finishes. It's also the go-to disc for tomahawks and thumbers (overhead throws) thanks to its extreme resistance to turning over. In a strong headwind it keeps flying predictably when other drivers are no longer reliable. Not suitable for beginners or intermediate players — it needs real arm speed so the turn +1 doesn't turn it into an instant hook.

ESP

Discraft premium plastic launched in 2006, created to combine exceptional grip with great durability. Opaque in appearance with its trademark colour swirls, it's grippier than Z from the very first throw and gradually beats in towards a slightly more understable flight with use. Slightly less durable than standard Z, but the difference is minimal under normal conditions.

Innova Firebird
— also very overstable and a benchmark in its segment, but the Flick is clearly more extreme (fade 5 vs 3). The Firebird is more manageable; the Flick is for situations where you need the absolute maximum.

Discraft Nuke OS— the Nuke OS (13/3/0/4) is faster but has slightly less fade. The Flick is Discraft's most overstable disc — more extreme than the Nuke OS in the most demanding situations.

Kastaplast Berg— the Berg (1/1/0/2) is also overstable but at speed 1, for approach. The Flick is the distance equivalent — the same idea of a disc that never gives in, but as a high-speed driver.
