The FD3 is the most overstable fairway driver in Discmania's Originals line — the most reliable, the most predictable and the one that holds up best in tough situations. With speed 9, glide 4, turn 0 and fade 3, it flies straight for a good stretch before finishing with a pronounced, consistent fade that never deceives. Low profile, blunt nose and concave inner rim — a design built from the outset to cut through the wind and always finish on hyzer.

For players with a powerful arm it works as a control fairway driver on long, demanding drives. For players with less arm speed it's the utility disc that comes out in specific situations: strong headwinds, tight corners or forehand shots that need maximum torque resistance. C-Line makes it even more overstable than other versions of the same mold — and one of the most durable on the market.

This version carries the Jackal stamp, Discmania's original icon, which has featured since the brand's very first discs. Discs with this stamp come from special runs — originally distributed in Discmania's own Mystery Boxes — and are highly valued by collectors and fans of the brand for their historical value.

C-Line

The most durable plastic in Discmania's Originals line. According to the manufacturer itself, C-Line discs retain their original flight characteristics for much longer than any other plastic in the range. Highly wear-resistant even on courses with lots of vegetation or abrasive terrain. Excellent grip in any condition, with a characteristic translucent, glossy look.

Discmania FD2— the FD2 (7/4/0/2) is slower with less fade. The FD3 is faster, more overstable and more wind-resistant. The FD2 is more versatile; the FD3 is the specialist tool for demanding conditions.

Innova Firebird— the world benchmark in the overstable segment. A very similar flight, but the FD3 has a lower profile and a blunter nose, which makes it especially comfortable for forehand.

Discraft Nuke OS— the Nuke OS (speed 13) is much faster and needs more power. The FD3 is more accessible — it achieves similar overstability with less arm speed.
