Dynamic Discs fairway driver in Lucid plastic, an X-out with a small cosmetic flaw. A workhorse disc that sits between your midranges and your faster fairway drivers.

This disc is an X-out — it has a small cosmetic flaw (imperfect stamp, uneven colour or another minor visual detail) that doesn’t affect flight or durability. It flies exactly the same as any standard Evader.

The Evader is Dynamic Discs’ workhorse fairway driver — and its official description says it all: “it fills the distance gap between your speed-5 midranges and your speed-9 fairway drivers. Extremely versatile, and its consistent fade means you can work it on anhyzer knowing it will come back to flat.” With speed 7, glide 4, turn 0 and fade 2.5, it flies dead straight from the release before finishing with a reliable, consistent fade. PDGA approved in January 2021.

A fade of 2.5 on a speed 7 makes it one of the most overstable fairway drivers in its class — it handles maximum power without turning over, resists headwinds and works just as well for controlled forehands and backhand hyzers. The community describes it as the perfect bridge between the Judge and the Escape in a Dynamic Discs bag. In Lucid the flight is a little more overstable than in Fuzion — the most consistent version of the Evader and the slowest to season.

Lucid

Dynamic Discs' translucent premium plastic. According to the manufacturer itself, “the perfect combination of polymers produces one of the most beautiful and durable plastics in disc golf”. It stands up to hard hits and keeps its original flight characteristics for many rounds. A bit more overstable than Fuzion in the same mold. Available in vivid translucent colours.

Latitude 64 Grand Honor— another overstable speed-9 fairway driver (9/5/0/2.5). The Honor is faster with the same fade. The Evader Lucid is slower with less glide — easier to control for players who can’t yet throw speed 9 cleanly.

Innova Champion Thunderbird— another overstable speed-9 fairway driver (9/5/0/2). The Thunderbird has more speed and less fade. The Evader Lucid is slower with more fade — more overstable for its speed and easier to control.

Kastaplast K1 Lots K1 Hard Joseph Anderson— another overstable control fairway driver (9/5/-1/2). The Lots has turn -1 and slightly less fade. The Evader Lucid has turn 0 and more fade — straighter early on with more bite at the end.
