Discmania distance driver in Neo plastic, an X-out with a small cosmetic flaw that doesn’t affect its flight. Speed and distance within reach of many players.

This disc is an X-out — it has a small cosmetic flaw (imperfect stamp, uneven colour or another minor visual detail) that doesn’t affect flight or durability. It flies exactly the same as any standard Enigma.

The Enigma was the first distance driver released in Discmania’s Evolution line — and it’s still one of the best-loved discs in the range. With speed 12, glide 5, turn -1 and fade 2, it strikes the perfect balance between speed and accessibility: according to the manufacturer, it was designed for players who struggle with the overstability of the most popular pro drivers. It flies far, flies straight and finishes predictably.

The Enigma sits between neutral and overstable drivers — it doesn’t turn over under power but doesn’t fade too aggressively either. Perfect for S-curve drives, hyzer flips and long-range anhyzers. Neo gives it exceptional grip and a premium feel in the hand. Worth knowing: Discmania is moving this mold to the Originals line under the name DD2 — so the Enigma in Neo is one of the last runs under this name in the Evolution line.

Neo

The most durable and stiffest plastic in Discmania's Evolution line, made by Latitude 64. It's a blend of Opto and Gold Line plastics — the result is a semi-translucent plastic with a creamy finish, extremely durable and with exceptional grip in any condition. It has a certain flexibility that gives it a very natural feel in the hand and adds a bit of extra snap at the end of the throw. Neo is the plastic that launched the Evolution line with the Instinct — the first disc in this plastic.

Discraft Zeus ESP (McBeth)— a very similar flight in concept (12/5/-1/3). The Zeus has more fade and is more overstable. The Enigma is more neutral and accessible — for players who want the Zeus but with a softer finish.

Latitude 64 Grace Royal Grand— another accessible driver with turn -1 (11/6/-1/2). The Grace is a little slower with more glide. The Enigma is faster and gets more distance with power — for players who have already outgrown speed 11.

Discmania Q-Line Premier DD3— the Enigma’s big brother in the Discmania range (12/6/-1/2). The Premier DD3 has more glide and is more advanced. The Enigma in Neo is more affordable with a gentler learning curve
