Discraft midrange in Fuzed Z plastic. A straight flight with plenty of glide for controlled shots.

Both with a clear base and a shiny stamp (pink disc)

The Buzzz is the most popular midrange in disc golf — and the Buzzzsaw is what the Buzzz looks like when it gets serious. Discraft took the top of a Buzzz and literally fused it to the bottom of a Zone — the result is a midrange that keeps all the glide and comfort of the Buzzz but with more torque resistance and a more reliable fade at the end. With speed 5, glide 4, turn -1 and fade 1, it flies straight and predictably and finishes with a consistent bite that never lets you down.

The Buzzzsaw debuted in 2024 as one of Discraft’s most sought-after discs — first in limited runs that sold out in minutes, and now available as a regular stock disc thanks to massive demand from the community. The saw pattern on the rim isn’t just for looks: the Fuzed process creates a subtle tactile texture that improves grip where your thumb sits. For forehand players who want the feel of the Buzzz with a more consistent finish, or for anyone who wants the classic Buzzz with a bit more character.

Fuzed Z

Discraft's exclusive technology that fuses two different plastics in one mold using a special moulding process. The top of the disc is standard Z Line — translucent, hard and very durable — while the lower rim incorporates a second plastic that creates the visible saw pattern. The fusion isn't just for looks: it adds more resistance to torque and a slightly more consistent flight than the Buzzz in standard Z. The visual result is spectacular — two colours that create the saw-blade effect on the rim.

Axiom Neutron Hex— a neutral midrange with almost identical numbers (5/5/-1/1). The Hex has a little extra glide. The Buzzzsaw resists torque better thanks to its fusion with the Zone — more reliable on a powerful forehand.

Latitude 64 Claymore— another hugely popular neutral midrange (5/5/-1/1). The Claymore has more glide and flies a bit further. The Buzzzsaw is slightly more stable and torque-resistant thanks to Fuzed technology.

Kastaplast Kaxe K1— the Kaxe (6/5/0/2) is a bit faster with more fade. The Buzzzsaw flies more neutral and straighter. The community compares the two head to head as the go-to control midranges of their respective brands.
