MVP distance driver in Neutron plastic, 10th anniversary edition. It flies straight and very far before a reliable finish.

The Wave turns 10 in 2025 — one of MVP’s best-loved distance drivers. This 10th Anniversary stamp is exclusive to the GYROpalooza 2025 box. A special detail: MVP hid 100 Golden Tickets in selected boxes — discs with a special stamp on the underside gave access to the in-person event at MVP’s headquarters in Marlette, Michigan.

The Wave is one of MVP’s best-loved distance drivers — described by the community as “a longer Inertia, with a stable-to-understable flight profile and a responsiveness that makes it useful across the whole power spectrum”. With speed 11, glide 5, turn -2 and fade 2, it flies straight for an exceptional distance before a moderate, predictable fade. In the manufacturer’s words: “fans all over the world have enjoyed the Wave for its balance of turn and fade, extending flights for max-bomb drives”. Useful both for slower arms looking for real distance and for advanced players who use it for long-distance hyzer flips and downwind drives.

This 10th Anniversary edition is the ultimate celebration of a decade of flights. The stamp is exclusive to the GYROpalooza 2025 box — and 100 of these boxes contained a Golden Ticket with a special stamp on the underside of the disc, granting access to GYROpalooza’s first in-person event in years at MVP’s headquarters in Marlette, Michigan. A disc that celebrates 10 years as a must-have in thousands of bags.

Neutron

MVP Disc Sports' main premium plastic. It offers the same durability as Proton — MVP's toughest — but with better grip and more vivid opaque colours that are easier to find on the course. Glossy finish with a firm, pleasant feel in the hand. MVP uses its GYRO overmold technology on all its Neutron discs — an inner rim of a different density that adds more stability and flight consistency throughout the disc's life.

Discraft ESP Scorch
— another accessible understable distance driver (11/6/-2/2). The Scorch has more glide and a Stability rating of 0.5. The Wave Neutron is a bit more overstable (fade 2 vs 2, but more consistent) — more control and more reliability in tough conditions.

Latitude 64 Royal Clear Grace— another understable speed-11 distance driver (11/6/-1/2). The Grace has less turn. The Wave Neutron has more turn (-2 vs -1) — more turn and more distance on S-curves for arms that already have the Grace under control.

Kastaplast K1 Impa— another very understable distance driver (11/6/-4/1). The Impa has much more turn. The Wave Neutron is more neutral with more fade — easier to control and more predictable for players who find the Impa too extreme.
