A flatter Discmania putter than the P2, co-designed with Eagle McMahon, in P-Line Flex 2 plastic. A straight flight with almost no fade.

Co-designed with Eagle McMahon · Back in the range

The Rainmaker is the flatter cousin of Discmania’s legendary P2 — originally co-designed with Eagle McMahon and brought back to the range after the Discmania community kept asking for it. In the manufacturer’s words: “the flatter, lower cousin of the P2 was out of the range for a while. Discmaniacs kept asking, and Discmaniacs got their disc back.” With speed 2, glide 3, turn 0 and fade 0.5, it’s one of the straightest putters on the market — it flies straight at the target with a minimal fade that keeps it almost parallel to the ground until it lands.

Its lower profile compared with the P2 makes it more comfortable for hands that prefer a shallower rim — the release is cleaner and more natural for many players who find the P2 too deep. It’s a putter built to be thrown a lot, not saved for fine weather — P-Line Flex 2 gets better with use: the grip sharpens with every round and the feel improves round after round. Perfect for mid-range putts where you need the disc to fly straight without a fade pulling it left, and for controlled approach shots where the landing has to be flat and predictable.

P-Line Flex 2

Discmania's most durable base plastic — a step above D-Line in wear resistance without sacrificing feel. Exceptional grip with a slightly tacky touch, a bit firmer than D-Line at the same flex. Flex 2 is the medium firmness — the perfect balance between feel and release consistency. According to Discmania, the P-Line for the P1 and P2 putters has a specific blend: soft and grippy for the P1, firmer for the P2.

Discmania P-Line Flex 2 P2— the Rainmaker’s big brother (2/3/0/1). The P2 has more fade and a deeper rim. The Rainmaker has fade 0.5 and a lower profile — straighter to the end and more comfortable for hands that prefer less depth.

Latitude 64 Pure Zero Medium— another neutral beadless putter with a gentle fade (3/3/-1/1). The Pure has turn -1 and is a little faster. The Rainmaker has turn 0 and fade 0.5 — even more neutral, with almost no finish, for anyone who wants the straightest putter possible.

Discmania C-Line Notion Special Edition— another putter with minimal fade (2/3/-1/0). The Notion has turn -1 and fade 0. The Rainmaker has turn 0 and fade 0.5 — slightly more neutral early on and with a minimal, more predictable finish than the completely neutral Notion.
