Overstable MVP putter in Particle Glow Proton plastic, back just for GYROpalooza 2025. Long, straight flights before it fades right where you want it.

The Particle is a discontinued MVP putter that returns exclusively for GYROpalooza 2025 — one of the few times MVP has brought back a retired mold, even temporarily. In the manufacturer’s words: “re-releasing a retired mold, even temporarily, is extremely rare for MVP”. Classic stamp by Brent Schoonover.

The Particle is a cult discontinued MVP putter — and GYROpalooza 2025 is practically the only chance to get your hands on one. In the manufacturer’s words: “an overstable putter designed for long, straight flights before the 2.5 fade kicks in and brings it down right where you want it”. It flies like a more overstable Envy — with the same shape as the Atom/Envy family but more torque resistance and a stronger finish. The “lid-like”, minimally deep profile makes it fast through the air and easy to release without wobble.

In Particle Glow Proton the disc takes on the particle glow effect — the same particles embedded in the Proton that make the GYROpalooza Pyro glow. A discontinued mold plus a brand-new plastic makes this edition a genuinely one-off piece. Classic stamp by Brent Schoonover — one of the most respected illustrators in the MVP community.

Particle Glow Proton

Axiom's new technology — standard Proton plastic (ultra-durable, translucent and firm) with glow particles embedded in the material. The particles glow under UV light while also lighting up Proton's base colour. The result is a unique double visual effect: under UV light the disc looks like it has a field of stars inside. Same flight as standard Proton — with a visual finish unprecedented in Axiom's history.

Axiom Prism Proton Envy Soft OTB Open
— another overstable putter from the MVP/Axiom family (3/3/0/2). The Envy has less fade. The Particle has fade 2.5 — more overstable with a stronger finish than the Envy.

Kastaplast K3 Hard Reko X— another overstable putter in a firm plastic (3/3/0/2). The Reko X has a concave wing. The Particle has fade 2.5 and GYRO technology — more overstable, with MVP’s dense-rim system.

Discraft Z Line Luna McBeth— another stable putter in a firm plastic (3/4/0/2). The Luna has more glide and is beadless. The Particle has less glide and more fade — shorter and more overstable, with MVP’s lid-like profile.
