The easier-to-throw SS version of Discraft's Nuke, in ESP plastic. For developing players who want top-level distance.

The Nuke SS is the “Super Straight” version of the iconic Nuke — the same ultra-wide 2.5 cm rim and the same extreme speed, but designed to make maximum distance accessible to a much wider range of players. According to the manufacturer, “the Nuke SS gives developing players the means to reach the distance of more advanced throwers without needing years of experience”. With speed 13, glide 5, turn -3 and fade 3, and a stability rating of 1.0, it produces huge early turn before a pronounced, reliable fade at the end — the most dramatic S-curve in the Discraft range.

For slower and intermediate arms it's the disc that gets you real distance almost automatically on hyzer flips. For advanced players it's the perfect tool for max-distance rollers, tailwind bombs and anhyzers that need to cover as much ground as possible. In ESP the flight is very true to the printed numbers and the grip is exceptional from the very first throw.

ESP

Discraft premium plastic launched in 2006, created to combine exceptional grip with great durability. Opaque in appearance with its trademark colour swirls, it's grippier than Z from the very first throw and gradually beats in towards a slightly more understable flight with use. Slightly less durable than standard Z, but the difference is minimal under normal conditions.

Discraft ESP Thrasher— also a very understable distance driver (12/5/-3/2). The Thrasher is a little slower with less fade. The Nuke SS is faster with more fade — more raw distance for arms that can already reach speed 13.

Kastaplast K1 Impa— also a very understable distance driver (11/6/-4/1). The Impa has more turn and less fade. The Nuke SS is faster with more fade at the end — for players with more power who've outgrown the Impa.

Latitude 64 Royal Clear Grace— also an accessible distance driver (11/6/-1/2). The Grace has far less turn. The Nuke SS is much more understable and faster — the next step for anyone who's mastered the Grace and wants more curving distance.
