Colour

The first driver in Ricky Wysocki’s line with Discraft, in prototype ESP plastic. Overstable and power-resistant, with a “smooth stability”.

Two-tone purple disc.

The Hallux is the first driver in Ricky Wysocki’s signature line with Discraft — designed to his specifications to handle the power and precision demanded by the best players in the world. With speed 10, glide 5, turn 0 and fade 3, Ricky describes it as having “smooth stability”: overstable and torque-resistant, but without the abrupt, aggressive finish of other fade-3 discs. It flies straight for most of its path and finishes with a strong but controlled fade.

The community and Wysocki himself describe it as “a faster, longer Anax” — more distance, same reliability. The low, clean rim with a slightly domed top helps glide and flight consistency. Perfect for powerful backhand drives, overstable forehands, flex lines and any situation where you need the disc to hold up to torque without turning over. PDGA approved on 22 September 2025. The Prototype edition is the first commercial run of the mold.

ESP (Prototype)

Discraft premium plastic with exceptional grip from the very first throw. Opaque finish with colour swirls that are unique on every disc. In the Prototype edition the stamp carries the disc's original launch design, making it a standout piece within the McBeth line catalogue. It gradually beats in towards a slightly more understable flight with use.

Si lo comparamos con...

Kastaplast Rask
— an overstable Swedish distance driver (14/3/0/4). The Rask is faster and more extreme. At speed 10 with glide 5, the Hallux is more accessible and gets more distance before the finish thanks to its extra glide.

Latitude 64 Ballista Pro— another overstable distance driver (14/4/0/3). The Ballista is much faster and more demanding. At speed 10, the Hallux is easier to control for arms that can’t reach speed 14 consistently.

Innova Firebird Champion— the benchmark overstable control driver (9/3/0/4). The Firebird is shorter with more fade. The Hallux has more glide and more potential distance — “smooth stability” versus the Firebird’s aggressive finish.
