Colour

Obsidian Discs putter in G7 plastic, softer and grippier than H9. For straight putts and approaches with a gentle finish.

The pink disc is lighter: 164 g

The Fragment is Obsidian Discs' putter — stable, straight and completely predictable. With speed 3, glide 4, turn 0 and fade 1, it offers a neutral flight that holds the release angle perfectly and finishes with a very gentle fade. Its thin, completely flat profile makes it one of the most comfortable putters on the market, suiting both small and large hands.

According to the manufacturer, the Fragment is reliable on both short and long putts and holds its release angle with great precision — which also makes it an excellent choice for controlled approach shots. The rim edge is carefully rounded for a clean, repeatable release on backhand and forehand. Suitable for every level thanks to its neutral flight with no surprises.

G7

A soft, very grippy midgrade plastic from Obsidian Discs. According to the manufacturer, it holds its grip exceptionally well even in wet conditions — ideal for putting, where grip is critical. It's slightly stiffer than G5, giving it a bit more consistency on the throw while keeping a nice feel when it hits the chains. A good middle ground between the maximum softness of G5 and the firmness of H9.

Kastaplast Berg
— the Berg (1/1/0/2) is more overstable and has far less glide. The Fragment is more neutral, goes further and is better for putting at the basket. The Berg is the approach tool; the Fragment is the all-round putter.

Discraft Challenger— very similar neutral flight, but the Fragment has a flatter profile and G7 offers better wet grip than Discraft's Putter Line.

Dynamic Discs Judge— the Judge is the most popular neutral putter on the market and very similar in concept. The Fragment has the same flat profile but in Obsidian's G7, known for its outstanding grip in the cold and rain
