Versatile Discmania fairway driver in Neo plastic, an X-out with a small cosmetic flaw. Straight, with plenty of glide and easy to throw for every level.

This disc is an X-out — it has a small cosmetic flaw (imperfect stamp, uneven colour or another minor visual detail) that doesn’t affect flight or durability. It flies exactly the same as any standard Essence.

The Essence is the “do-it-all fairway driver” of Discmania’s Evolution line — the disc that defines the brand’s philosophy of a versatile, accessible fairway driver. With speed 8, glide 6, turn -2 and fade 1, it flies straight with a gentle turn and finishes with a very moderate fade. According to the manufacturer, it’s the closest relative of the TD2 from the Originals line, but reimagined and reinvented for the Evolution line.

The Essence’s semi-rounded nose is one of its most distinctive features — it makes roller shots and controlled throws much easier on both backhand and forehand. Ideal for beginners looking for their first fairway driver with real distance, for intermediate players who want a versatile control disc in the woods, and for advanced players who need a tool for hyzer flips, turnovers and rollers. Neo gives it a generous dome that boosts glide and makes the disc float more than you’d expect.

Neo

The most durable and stiffest plastic in Discmania's Evolution line, made by Latitude 64. It's a blend of Opto and Gold Line plastics — the result is a semi-translucent plastic with a creamy finish, extremely durable and with exceptional grip in any condition. It has a certain flexibility that gives it a very natural feel in the hand and adds a bit of extra snap at the end of the throw. Neo is the plastic that launched the Evolution line with the Instinct — the first disc in this plastic.

Kastaplast K1 Grind Falk
— another understable, high-glide fairway driver (9/6/-2/1). The Falk is a little faster with slightly more fade. The Essence is more accessible for developing arms thanks to its speed of 8 and rounded nose.

Latitude 64 Jade Gold— another understable and very accessible driver (9/6/-2/1). The Jade has slightly more fade and is a little faster. The Essence is more workable on shaped shots thanks to its rounded nose and Neo dome.

MVP Neutron Trail— another accessible distance driver (10/5/-1/1). The Trail is faster and a bit more neutral. The Essence is slower, more understable and easier to use for developing arms — more glide with less speed.
