Very easy-to-throw driver from Latitude 64's Easy to Use line, in lighter Opto Air plastic. Ideal for beginners, kids and players looking for distance without power.

The Diamond is one of the most recommended discs for getting started in disc golf — for beginners as well as young players, seniors or anyone who wants distance without needing much power. It's part of Latitude 64's “Easy to Use” line and it has one goal: to make the disc go far with minimal effort. With speed 8, glide 6, turn -3 and fade 1, it flies a long, smooth S-curve and lands straight, with no sharp hook at the end.

Opto Air, in weights between 145g and 159g, makes it especially accessible — the lighter the disc, the less speed it needs for the turn to kick in, so players who don't yet have polished technique can enjoy long, satisfying flights from day one. According to the manufacturer, it's designed for players who throw between 60 and 90 metres, helping them get the full S-curve without forcing it. Advanced players use it for distance rollers and aggressive hyzer flips.

Opto Air

An ultralight version of Latitude 64's premium Opto plastic. It uses exactly the same material as standard Opto, but adds air microbubbles across the top and the centre of the rim to reduce weight without significantly altering the disc's mass distribution. It keeps Opto's durability and translucent colours, although it's somewhat less wind-resistant than the standard version due to its lower weight.

Latitude 64 Diamond Opto— the same mold in standard plastic, in weights up to 159g. Opto Air is lighter (145-159g) and its turn kicks in at lower speeds; standard Opto is a bit more stable in the wind.

Innova Leopard— also understable and highly recommended for beginners, but the Diamond has more turn (-3 vs -2) and more glide. The Diamond in Opto Air goes further with less power.

Discraft Heat (Z Lite)— a very similar flight in terms of understability and beginner-friendliness. Both have glide 6, and Opto Air is comparable to Z Lite as a lightweight premium plastic.
