Discraft distance driver in Z Lite plastic, lighter so you can build speed with less effort. Long S-curve flights with a reliable finish.

According to the community itself, the Crank is Discraft's most underrated distance driver — a disc that sits between the Nuke and the Nuke SS, combining speed 13 with a long, predictable S-curve flight. With turn -2 and fade 2, it turns right early on, glides for a remarkable distance and finishes with a reliable, moderate fade. The rim is slightly narrower than other speed 13 drivers, making it more comfortable in the hand.

The Z Lite version is especially interesting because the lower weight lets players with less power unlock the mold's full flight — something only very powerful arms achieve with standard Z Line. Suitable for every level: beginners will use it for long, straight drives with a gentle finish, intermediate players for max-distance S-curves, and advanced players for hyzer flips and tailwind shots where you want to squeeze out every metre.

Z Lite

An ultralight version of Discraft's premium Z Line plastic, developed in 2014. It incorporates air microbubbles into the plastic to reduce density and weight without sacrificing Z Line's durability or flight properties. It keeps the characteristic translucent look and wear resistance. The Crank was one of the first six molds released in this plastic, making it one of the most tested in this version.

Discraft Crank Z Line
— the same mold in standard weights (165-176g). Z Line is more stable and predictable for powerful arms; Z Lite is more accessible and flies more understable with the same power.

Discraft Nuke SS— the Nuke SS (13/5/-3/1) is more understable and turns more. The Crank has more fade and is more reliable into a headwind, with a stronger finish at the end.

Innova Destroyer— the world benchmark in this segment (12/5/-1/3). The Crank is faster and has more turn, so it reaches greater maximum distance but is a little less predictable in the wind.
