Understable Discraft distance driver in very durable Z Line plastic. Ideal for gaining distance without needing a very powerful arm.

Note: disc colours and stamps may vary.

The Avenger SS is Discraft's understable distance driver, known in the community as “the driver for the rest of us mere mortals”. With turn -3 and fade 1, it turns right as soon as it leaves your hand and lands softly and under control, without the sharp hook of overstable discs.

It's the ideal disc for getting more distance without needing a lot of power: beginners use it for hyzer flips and long drives, intermediate players for turnover lines and tailwind shots, and advanced players make the most of it for distance rollers. With a powerful arm the turn kicks in fully and the disc can roll over on its axis, making it a very effective roller tool.

Z Line

Discraft's most durable plastic, formerly known as Elite-Z. Translucent look with vivid colours and highly wear-resistant. It comes out of the factory a bit firmer and less grippy than ESP, but gains grip progressively with use. Its biggest advantage over other plastics is that it keeps its original flight characteristics for much longer — ideal if you want your disc to fly the same round after round.

Si lo comparamos con...

Avenger SS ESP— same mold and same flight numbers, but Z Line is firmer and more durable. ESP offers more grip from the very first throw and becomes more understable sooner with use.

Innova Leopard3— a similar understable profile, but the Avenger SS is faster (speed 10 vs 7) and gets more distance for the same amount of power.

Kastaplast Älva K1— both understable with plenty of glide, but the Avenger SS has more turn (-3 vs -2) and Kastaplast's K1 is comparable in durability to Discraft's Z Line.
